worked full-time for the trade union verdi during her professional career with a focus on retail. She is now retired. With the help of the Femnet projects, she would like to support women workers from the textile and clothing industry in asserting their rights.
is an assessor. She studied at the Faculty of Textile and Clothing Technology at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach, completed her Master's degree in Trade & Retail and has been working in various positions in the FEMNET team for several years.

With over 15 years of experience in sustainability work in the fashion industry and global agriculture as well as a background in compliance and auditing, she brings not only expertise but also a passionate conviction for change. Lavinia represents the 'Civil Society' in the Steering Committee of the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles.
